3 Ways to Treat your Migraine

  1. Pain Reliever Medicine. I don’t usually take meds because I’m scared from the side effects. And as what I read from Mayo Clinic, taking too much meds can give your more headache pain. So don’t over take it.
  2. Pain Reliever Ointment. This works on me. Every time my headache or migraine strikes, ointment save my day. I usually apply on my forehead and back of my upper neck. Make it a habit to bring an ointment every time you went outside because migraine sometimes attack without any sign. From my experience, I’m just drinking a milk tea and suddenly, my head is on pain. I don’t know if that tea is the cause but I stopped drinking it up to now.
  3. Rest or sleep. When the pain goes worst especially when I’m in the office, I snap for at least 30 mins. In this way, my eyes can take a rest which I think one of the causes of my migraine. I read from an article titled, First Aid for Migraine and Headache, sleep or going to dark room helps to calm the brain and give a relief from migraine pain. Not all the time this can give you relief, wrong position can give you more pain based on the experience.
