Difference between Contesting and Challenging a Will
Contesting and challenging may sound the same but they’re not.
The video uploaded on the ORG Law YouTube channel explained the difference between contesting and challenging a will. As stated, appeal to contest a will if you are not happy with how the will was distributed or when you feel that you’ve been left out.
While challenging a will is when you question the validity of the will. It triggers when you believe that the deceased doesn’t have the ability to update the current will. If the challenge succeeded. The previous will be acknowledged.
